Bloodfields Combat Dice System In the intense world of Bloodfields, combat encounters demand a fair and unpredictable outcome. To achieve this, we've designed a custom dice system that combines attack and defense rolls to create thrilling battles. **Attack Dice** Three six-sided dice are used for attack rolls: two standard d6s and one custom die with the following sides: * 1: Critical hit (double damage) * 2-3: Normal hit * 4-5: Weak hit (reduced damage) * 6: Miss **Defense Dice** Two six-sided dice are used for defense rolls. The result determines the opponent's ability to withstand incoming attacks. * 1-2: Easy target (increased damage taken) * 3-4: Normal defense * 5-6: Strong defense (reduced damage taken) **Combat Resolution** To resolve combat, both players roll their respective dice and compare the results. The player with the higher total wins the encounter. * Attack Roll: Sum of two standard d6s and the custom die * Defense Roll: Sum of two standard d6s The winner is determined by subtracting the defense total from the attack total. If the result is positive, the attacker deals damage to their opponent. If the result is negative or zero, the defender successfully blocks the attack. **Example** Player A rolls an 8 on attack (4+2+2) and a 5 on defense (3+2). Player B rolls a 6 on attack (3+1+2) and a 9 on defense (4+5). Since Player A's total is higher, they deal damage to Player B.
