My Daughter Needed a Lamp, So I Designed One She Loves - A Simple Easy Lamp That Can Be Customized With Add-Ons Like an Electronic Switch. This design matches the jewelry box I made her. You can find it on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2875966. The lamp is easy to assemble and consists of two separate parts: a base and a lamp arm. The lamp arm has a small compartment where you can insert a 12v cob light and a 60 ohm resistor (but be sure to adjust the value according to your wattage or power source). To make this design even more unique, I printed it with Hatchbox Glow in the Dark Filament. This gives the lamp an otherworldly glow that's perfect for any room. Assembling the lamp is a breeze. Simply attach the base and lamp arm together, insert the light and resistor, and you're good to go. The only thing you'll need to do is adjust the STL file if your desk is thicker than 12.6mm (which mine is). I couldn't resist adding a programmable feature to this design. It's up to you how you wire it, so feel free to get creative and make it your own. Enjoy!
