This is a critical component for the D-bot bottom corner vertices. It utilizes the parameterized corner piece found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1543523. The original design had 70mm of rail coverage in each direction, but I opted to use 40mm instead. The large size of the original parameterized corner piece made it unreasonable, so I trimmed it down for better usability. Additionally, I modified it to require two screws per rail slot rather than one. Photos demonstrate this corner piece printed with red eSun PETG and attached to my D-bot printer. Remaining photos showcase the original corner bracing from the D-bot plans. I aimed to create a stiffer corner bracing that also facilitates 90-degree alignment of the rails at the corners. This one-piece corner brace ensures a tight joint between the rails, making it stronger and stiffer than the original bracing while enforcing 90-degree angles. This file will generate a brace for the left rear and front right corners of the D-bot. Use the mirror feature in Cura or your preferred slicer to create a mirrored version that fits the left front and right rear corners. I printed this with a .5mm nozzle, .24mm layer height, eSun PETG filament at 245°C, 70°C bed temperature on a glass bed coated with old hairspray, and print speeds of 30mm/s for all walls and infill. Update: Since these braces require the rails to slide into holes in the brace, you may need to modify the build order in the D-bot guide accordingly. I retrofitted my existing frame after printing out these corner braces, but without knowing the best build order beforehand, it can be challenging to determine how to construct them effectively.
