Custom Bracket to Mount Ender 3 / Ender-3 V2 / Ender-3 Pro / CR20 / CR-20 heated bed on Linear Rails with a lead screw arrangement

I'm building a 3d printer from component parts, using off the shelf components where necessary, with the intention of replacing them with homebrew solutions in the longer term. The first part to be addressed is the mounting system for the bed. In my case, I have used an 8mm lead screw with nut housing, where the nut housing itself has standard 18x24 hole spacings (the holes are 18mm apart front to back, 24mm apart left to right). Conveniently, the linear bearings I'm using to steady the bed share the same hole pattern. All use M4 bolts, and the design accounts for a pointless by slightly stylish countersunk bolt to be used for mounting the bracket to the bearings. Using this part, it should be possible to spring load the bed itself, and have it "free floating", whilst using a lead screw to drive it and having it rigid as all hell - far more so than most arrangements I've seen which rely on rollers in extrusions. **This part has been manufactured and fits like a glove**. Very sturdy, I think 4mm aluminium is more than enough, and likely adds a bit too much weight to the Y axis. Having said that, I intend to upgrade to a ball screw which should be fine, just marginally increased wear. Ordered from PCBWay this part is quoted at around $40. Anodised and shipped almost doubles that, but still a relative bargain. No affiliation, just figure it may be useful to know.
