Custom Blade Disposal Box
thingiverse
A convenient blade storage container. Print > Fill with blades > Dispose of. This is an enhanced re-design of [zapta](https://www.thingiverse.com/zapta/)'s [Customizable X-Acto blade storage box](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2349306). * 1mm thin walls: sufficiently stable and secure, with no unnecessary waste of material * 1mm slot + inner slot protector to prevent blades from falling out (should never happen) * Wedged-shaped opening for easy access to the blade storage slot * Round and rectangular base shape option ## STLs * **`blade_storage_box_40x20x60_t1_s1.stl`:** A 40x20x60 box with 1mm wall thickness and a 1mm slot, ideal for double-edged razor, scalpel, and utility knife blades. * **`blade_storage_box_40x20x60_t1_s1_so3.stl`:** Same as above but with a slot offset of 3mm. * **`blade_storage_box_rect_40x25x60_t1_s1_so5.stl`:** A 40x25x60 rectangular box with 1mm wall thickness and 1mm slot (5mm offset). * **`blade_storage_box_40x30x60_t2_s2.stl`:** A slightly larger box with 2mm walls and a blade storage slot. * **`blade_storage_box_60x40x40_t1_s2_so12.stl`:** A rectangular box (non-flat bottom) with 1mm walls and a 2mm blade storage slot. * **`blade_storage_box_40x20x10_BRIDGING_TEST.stl`:** A small test model. If you are unsure about your printer's bridging capabilities, print this one first to see if the top part is printed smoothly. ## Customizer If you have trouble using the Customizer always set resolution to "Draft" first, but remember to set it back to "Normal" before creating the final blade storage model.
