Custom designed e3D toolhead for Lulzbot Taz 6 built from scratch with a focus on stability. The stock tool head's wobble on the wedge part that attaches to the mounting plate was a major turn-off. A full assembly is included for reference, showcasing every component of this custom design. The benefits of this e3D toolhead are numerous: It's incredibly lightweight. You can still use the stock toolhead if needed. Five-point mounting screws keep the toolhead secure and wobble-free at all times. A small mirror and brush can be mounted to monitor the hobbed gear and keep it clean with ease. This design allows for the use of a pancake stepper with 1.75mm compatibility. The air duct is surprisingly efficient, eliminating the need for a wrap-around fan duct. Easy access to the nozzle and a clear view of the print in progress are just a few of its many advantages.
