Custom 04 Honda CR250 and CR125 Rad Guards
thingiverse
I put the file on hold because the client sold his bike before I could complete the design, but I did manage to discover that the rad guard mounting holes were perfectly positioned, and the height was well-suited. Although the design was a bit skinny, I intended to print a square-shaped washer-style spacer in the desired thickness, with an ID large enough to fit snugly over the mounting pegs. I also planned to add a flathead slit to the peg head and threads to both the peg holes and the rad guard mounting holes, eliminating the need for bolts. Until I find a suitable bike from the same year, this file will remain on hold. This design may also fit other years, but it's a customized job I did specifically for my friend's bike, aiming to give it some flair reminiscent of its heyday. Both left and right sides are included and clearly readable. If you're interested in adapting this design to your 125cc model, feel free to contact me. I made some adjustments to the file after the initial prototype didn't work out as planned and there were minor calculation errors due to the bent piece I was working from. Once I've perfected this design and it's functioning correctly, I'll update its status from a "work in progress" to a completed project. This design may fit other years and sizes, but keep in mind that my expertise lies with Husqvarna bikes, particularly the 04 edition models, which is all the experience I have.
