Curved washer for 1.5-inch abs pipe
thingiverse
Here is a set of curved washers for a 1/4" bolt in 1.5" ABS pipe. I designed this to secure an eye bolt, allowing you to attach a rod holder to your float tube securely. The inside washer features a hex recess for a 1/4" nylock nut that's press-fit into place. To ensure a rock-solid install, drill a 1/4" hole in the pipe where you want the bolt or eye bolt to go, and then assemble the curved washers, metal washers, and nuts. The sequence from inside out is 1/4" nyloc nut, curved inside washer, pipe, curved outside washer, 1"OD 1/4"ID fender washer, 1/4" lock washer, and 1/4" nut. For an eye bolt, you can omit the final 1/4" lock washer and nut. Now loosen everything up so that you can access the curved face of the inside washer. Apply ABS pipe cement to that area and on the pipe where that washer lands. Tighten everything up again and let the cement set. The result is a captured inside washer and nut, allowing you to install or change or remove the bolt from the outside even after you no longer have access to the inside. Print this in ABS if you want to glue it to the pipe, with 100% infill, no raft, no support, and a 0.25mm layer height is fine. Position the flat sides of the washers down on the build plate. The design is parametric, so look for the variables at the start of the build list on the left side of the design window.
