Actually this was my first idea for NASA Lunar Torch challenge.see video here https://youtu.be/M8kPrQq7wRU But when I try build smaller scale example. Then I realized that this solution is quite complicated. So that's why I suggestest check out my second much simple solution if you want save weight. X-Sync (NASA Lunar TORCH Challenge) This curved mirror material thickness should be much thicker for folded edge. Also mast frames must be rigid and should keep 3 segments. Advantages is that this system has quite high mast to catch solar light behind moon landscape. And 3 segment folding system gives good angels for mirrors and for solarpanels. In the middle is just flat mirror for backup if curved mirror deployment mechanism will fail.
