Addon for Homemade Filament Storage System: Curved Funnel Design Ensures Smooth Filament Flow. This innovative funnel protects filament from damage, regardless of spool size or content level. The curved shape guarantees a safe bend radius as filament enters the funnel, and it exits the teflon tube in a straight line, eliminating sharp angles that can cause breakage. Designed for 4mm teflon tubes with 2mm inner diameters, this funnel accommodates 1.75mm filament. Mounting holes are standard through-holes for easy nut and bolt attachment using M3-M5 mm screws. UPDATE: Version 2 Enhancements. Support poles have been integrated into the design, eliminating the need for positioning and retraction moves that can lead to stringing issues. This update may require slightly more material but results in faster printing times due to eliminated retraction delays.
