I did this model to connect 2 Polypropylene (PP) buckets with a hose (1/2 | 13mm) since no glue will stick to PP. Use a sealing gasket between the PP and the flange on both sides to make it water tight. The hose fits perfectly through the flange hole and doesn't leak but you should seal it in any case with silicone or water resistent glue.
