This filament clip securely holds the filament in place without creating a hassle during installation: simply insert the filament into the large hole (2.85 Inner Diameter for 1.75 mm filament) and the elbow will do its job to keep the filament firmly in place. This clip is specifically designed for a particular spool model, as shown in the picture: - The outer diameter of this spool measures 200 mm. - The thickness of the last 7.65 mm of the spool is 3.62 mm. The spool used by Spool 3D in Canada and also available on Alibaba has attracted many other filament distributors, who likely use this model as well.
