Curved Baby Gate Clip
thingiverse
The baby gate I use to keep the dogs contained has a plastic piece holding the parts together, allowing them to slide past each other for easy access. Of course, it broke down. I first attempted to utilize the Thingiverse design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:955580), but I didn't need a bearing and wasn't fond of the square corners. As someone who can easily step over the gate, those square edges tend to snag clothing. The original pieces were smoother and more rounded than the above model. With two such parts on the gate, one still intact, I took precise measurements from both the broken piece and the unbroken part and created a detailed diagram. v2: After several months, the first print failed due to cracking at the junction where the vertical section met the top at a right angle. To alleviate this stress point, I added a small radius.
