Curved 4 Point Shuriken

Curved 4 Point Shuriken

thingiverse

This is a shuriken I crafted to be visually striking and ideal for recreational tossing. Its flight dynamics closely resemble those of a playing card, but it boasts greater stability and slightly increased velocity. Multiple tests against a wooden wall revealed no discernible damage, thanks in part to the use of PETG filament, which offers superior impact resistance compared to PLA. The shuriken can be thrown with identical techniques as a standard playing card. Interestingly, the direction of spin has no bearing on its flight trajectory but does significantly influence how it interacts with objects upon impact. To ensure optimal safety, I initially designed this shuriken to be 1/8 inch thick and subtly blunted. However, the printed points proved slightly sharper than anticipated. Consequently, I've created a revised version featuring an even more rounded tip for added precautionary measures.
