Curve Overhang Test
cults3d
This device puts the printer's ability to print overhang from 40° to 75° to the test.\nThree curves - a straight line, a convex arc, and a concave arc - are used to create the test form.\nPrevious tests of overhang often relied on straight lines, which essentially amount to bridging rather than true overhang. The convex surface presents the worst-case scenario for warping when printing overhang. Concave surfaces perform significantly better than their convex counterparts.\n\nIt is suggested that the object be printed without infill and top.
