Curtiss P40 Warhawk
thingiverse
Human-made models inspired by old drawings perfectly replicate the original planes' dimensions. To emphasize their sleek lines, I've minimized the model's details. EDIT 2018 : The plane is now printable in two parts to avoid messy support lines underneath. You can download files and high-resolution STLs at https://cults3d.com/en/divers/curtiss-p-40-warhawk. It took me two full days to work on this design, plus half a day for the two halves. If you like it, don't forget to press the "LIKE" button. My other plane models include the F4U Corsair (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1470382) and Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1761372). Next uploads will feature the famous Spitfire, A6M5 Zero, BF109, FW190, I16, Yak 9, or La5, P47, and P51. --- I designed this model following old plans to match the real planes' dimensions exactly. To keep only their beautiful lines, I didn't add many details. You can download a high-resolution STL here: https://cults3d.com/en/divers/curtiss-p-40-warhawk. I worked on it for 2 full days, which is why it's not free to print on Cults - but every like and follower helps me encourage designers like me to share our models.
