Curtiss P-40B is built near to scale and includes a lot of detail. The P-40B Warhawk was late 1930s development of the Curtiss Aircraft company P-40 family of fighter planes in anticipation of a need for a maneuverable dogfighter. The P-40B or Tomahawk IIA are revised versions of the P-40: had extra .30 in (7.62 mm) U.S., or .303 in (7.7 mm) machine guns in the wings and a partially protected fuel system. It was produced in numbers for the US Army Air Corp as a front-line fighter, then US Army Air Force and then later as a second line fighter when Mustangs, Thunderbolts and Lightening came on into service. They were sent to every area of operations and environment on the planet.
