This is a step-by-step guide to assembling a miniature engine model. The assembly process involves several steps, including removing supports, cleaning up parts, gluing components together, and adding details such as paint and primer. Here are the key points: * Remove supports indicated in red on each cylinder bank and on the upper part of the engine case. * Glue together the two-part engine case using a sprue cutter or a toothpick to help with alignment. * Glue the left and right cylinder banks to the motor body, ensuring they are aligned correctly. * Separate the water cooling channels and glue them into the sockets on the two sides of each cylinder bank. * Glue one carburettor to each manifold, making sure it fits properly into the small indent on the correct side of the manifold. * Attach the flywheel assembly to the boss on the same (non-drive) side of the model. * On the opposite (drive) side of the engine, attach the two-part sprocket assembly. * Remove the two circular supports from the distributor and glue it into place. * Glue the water outlet to the ends of the upper cooling pipes. * Assemble the water pump by removing small supports, aligning and gluing together the two faces of the pump, and attaching the pump gear. * Trim the supports from the left and right branches of the pump and glue them into place. The assembly process requires patience and attention to detail.
