Remix to add a single downward angled screw hole. This will allow a standard 3in Sheetrock screw to securely hold the curtain rod to the wall in just Sheetrock as long as the curtains do not weigh too much. One downside is you can not mount them too close to the ceiling as if you do you will not be able to get a screwdriver in at the required angle to tighten the screws.
