Curtain rod holder / Support tringle à rideaux

Curtain rod holder / Support tringle à rideaux

thingiverse

I designed a holder to hold a 20mm diameter rod. Last summer, I broke three metal curtain rod holders in a rented house. With my 3D printer nearby and no desire to search for it in stores, I created one with the same size as the previous one, even though it was 3D-printed. Here is the result: none of them broke. I printed it in ABS without support, with about three layers thick and sixty percent infill. It's incredibly strong; I believe it could do the job in PLA too. Support for curtain rod holders, designed to replace old metal ones that broke... Made for a 20mm rod, it's a very solid piece (still in use since last summer). Printed in ABS without support, three layers thick, sixty percent infill; I think this should work with PLA as well.
