This is a sleek and versatile curtain rod holder designed to enable you to effortlessly hang curtains over your sliding door blinds, providing maximum control over the amount of sunlight entering your bedroom. To tailor it to my specific needs, I cut two wooden rods to 7 inches in length, which proved more than sufficient for effectively covering my installed blinds. The sliding glass doors in my bedroom can let an unrelenting stream of bright morning light flood into the room, disrupting my sleep schedule and making it challenging to rise at a decent hour. In order to create a darker environment that aligns with my preference for keeping my bedroom as dark as possible, especially during the early morning hours, I created this custom curtain rod holder. By incorporating a pair of black out curtains into this setup, you'll be able to seamlessly block out excessive sunlight while maintaining complete control over the level of illumination within your room.
