This tool allows you to quickly and easily install curtain rods by providing a measuring guide that shows the distance of holes from window corners. Included picture demonstrates how it works. Print size: 9in x 9in - Install curtain rods in minutes without hassle. - The STRESS-FREE CURTAIN ROD HANGING TEMPLATE (9" X 9") takes the hassle out of measuring the location of screw holes to mount curtain brackets and ensures that they are at the same height and width for every similar window in your home. - Prevent drilling unnecessary holes that will require patching, sanding and painting. - No measuring tape or level is required. - Before punching holes in your wall, be sure to use a stud finder (also known as a magnet), typically located near doors made of wood. This should be fine to drill into within a couple of inches. Hanging drapery rods can be a painful process! The first challenge is marking the right location for screw holes. You can spend lots of time measuring and marking the brackets' placement, yet the result might still be off. It's especially challenging if you're hanging several rods. INSTRUCTIONS: - Place it against the wall in the corner of the outside of your window frame. - Decide where you want to place the hole (e.g. x3 y3) and punch a hole in the wall with a thumbtack through that x3 y3 hole (centered). - Go to the other side and punch a hole in the wall with the thumbtack in the same hole. - Now, the holes you punched with the thumbtack show exactly where to install the screws for your blinds. - Done!
