I designed this curtain rail endstop / endcap in order to prevent the curtain from sliding out of the rail and covering up the otherwise open profile of the curtain rail.

Printing:

I printed this one with 0,2 layer hight and a 0,4 nozzle on my Ender 3 V2.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20

Filament: 3DJAKE ecoPLA white Post-Printing =============

Preparing Screws

I designed this to fit M4 x 10 Screws and M4 Nuts for both rails.
For easy mounting I prepared the whole thing on the table (inserting the nuts and screws without tightening them).
This way you don't need to fiddle around with the screws over your head, hoping you don't miss the nut ;)

Mouting

After the preparation the cap can just be slid into the rail profile and the screws can be tightened.

How I Designed This

First I took a photo of the profile, imported it into f360, scaled it according to some quick measures I already had and drew some quick scetches.

some extrudes and fine tunings later the design was done

Category: Household Supplies
