Curtain Rail Clip

Curtain Rail Clip

thingiverse

This is a replacement clip for securing the curtain rail to the metal brackets.\nAfter my original clips gave out once due to my mischievous cat climbing on the rail when she was a kitten, and she did it again as a full-grown cat, I decided to order more from the shop but they didn't have any. Since I figured I might as well, I chose to 3D print some instead.\nI used PLA for printing, and they seem strong enough so far.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm layers Notes: I printed a group of these together to prevent the small part from overheating. Since small parts like this can be challenging to keep stuck to the bed, I also used a brim. It's quite convenient as it allows me to leave multiple spares attached in a drawer until I need them.\nCurtain rail clips need support from the print bed only.
