curtain pole support
thingiverse
It's a support for holding up a curtain pole. Simply insert the pole through the hole and secure the bracket to the ceiling or wall by screwing it into place. I've found that mounting mine to the ceiling works beautifully, providing excellent stability. This design is specifically created to be slightly larger and more robust than standard metal curtain pole supports, making it ideal for use in bay windows where the pole may otherwise twist and sag due to its ability to move within the support. Print Settings: Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 25% Notes: Despite being a horizontal hole, it's narrow enough that even with a 28mm pole, an internal support isn't required. This approach offers several advantages, including faster printing times and a smoother external finish. Post-Printing Instructions: Remove the raft and secure the bracket to the ceiling by screwing it into place. To do this, you'll need to create two holes spaced 50 mm apart. The holes are designed to accommodate 5mm diameter screws, ensuring a sturdy hold.
