Curtain pole bracket

Curtain pole bracket

I designed these brackets specifically to support a simple curtain pole over a doorway. The original pole was repurposed from a 27.5mm diameter brush handle, which I transformed into a sturdy holder. To accommodate various sizes of curtain hoops and provide extra clearance behind the pole against the wall, I created multiple spacers that can be used individually for added flexibility. The brackets feature a 7mm hole that is countersunk at an 82-degree angle, allowing me to secure them to the wall with #8 woodscrews. The pole fits firmly into the brackets due to a snap-fit design, and it can be easily removed with moderate force.
