curtain end cap
thingiverse
I swung by my local Bed Bath & Beyond store, taking a closer look at those pricey curtain finials which came with a hefty price tag of $15 or more. I decided it was high time to roll up my sleeves and design my own custom pieces back in my workshop. With my trusty calipers on hand, I easily measured the precise diameter required for my new curtains' rod ends. As you know, curtain rods often come with two different diameters at either end, directly tied to your window's width. In my case, one end was a slender 0.65 inches while the other ended up being a slightly larger 0.75 inches. Now, to get it just right, I'll need to size that thing using a cylindrical template matching the exact diameter of my curtain rod.
