I'm remixing some of the Curta 3:1 parts to be multi-material printable, particularly the parts with lettering etc. I'm opting to go with additional models to serve as "modifier" meshes to alter the extruder because Fusion 360's STL brep tool doesn't like the number of faces they have when doing intersection/cut operations - Be cautious of this - or your slicer may try to double extrude in the same area if you designate them as parts instead of modifiers! This is a work-in-progress, but apart from the upper outer sleeve, I've already printed the parts successfully. Future updates will only include parts that I have actually printed and not just "in-theory". Print as per original, just set up your filament profiles and extruders as desired. I used white and black PLA+. My printer is a Mk3S with a skelestruder and MMU2, you should make any adjustments to suit your own printer/filament when using the 3MFs. I've added AMFs which are pre-plated, or you can use the STLs as modifiers to change the extruder for the respective regions on your own parts. ### Notes: - Selector shaft top: The key slot should be aligned such that its long dimension is parallel with the spaces between 2-3 and 7-8. - Print the results dials at 0.15mm layer height - otherwise the very small extrusions can cause surface defects from the low flow rates unless your extruder doesn't ooze and retains its prime well. Per the guide, the 6 aligns with the hole. Note my parts require you to trim down the carry pins as I had to solidify the bottom area to have enough substance for a multi-material print behind the 6. - The digits cover modifier should bisect the small holes between the separate items. You can raise or lower it as desired, I printed mine flush with the inside top, you could make it flush with the bottom of the outside rounding if desired, or just a few layers to cut down print time/toolchanges. ### Changelog: - Nov 3, 2019: Initial publish of STLs and (3/a)MF plates. - Nov 17,2019: Added the inner lower housing (and separate outer lower housing)
