This is just a place for me to share modified parts that are more 3d-printer friendly, in order to cut down on print time, supports, and waste material.

I strongly suggest you look at the other two remixes of the calculator as well; as I will only add parts when I wasn't satisfied by what's already available. It's a WIP as I'm adding them as I print them during my own build, over time.

If parts are split there will usually be alignment pins to help glue them back together. Rather than make you print pins too, the holes are 1.75mm diameter so you can use a bit of scrap filament for alignment. Depending on your printer accuracy you may need to make them a smidge larger after printing or trim elephant foot. They are pinned only for alignment, the strength should be from the surface area contact and glue you use (so print on a smooth surface, not a textured sheet).

Print settings should remain the same as the original.

For 3d printable 5/6mm bearings:

Print at 0.1mm, 100% infill.

Give them a bit of sanding so the layer lines are smoother and they slide in and out of the dimples easily.

I recommend gluing the spring to the flat side so they do not rotate and jam up.

I have no idea as to their longevity, but I figured they were worth a shot before I bought actual metal bearings. ### Changelog:

Oct 10, 2019: Added split and pinned reversing shaft

Oct 12, 2019: Added some 3d-printable 5 and 6mm "bearings".

Oct 18, 2019: Added split main crank, only pin requires some sort of support for the ridge.

Category: Math
