Current loops for clamps
thingiverse
Current Loops for Current Clamp isolates currents, revealing them in a well-organized arrangement suitable for clamping. This setup provides two distinct loop areas, allowing users to wind each one with varying ratios, such as 1x (a single loop) and 10x (ten loops), enhancing sensitivity when measuring. A 10mm cross-sectional dimension accommodates compact DC-compatible clamps like Fluke 80i-110s, which can be effectively employed. Take necessary precautions to select the correct wire gauges based on the current being measured. Instructions: To produce this object, use a printer (I used supports and ABS). Pass wires through the end holes and create winding ratios by looping them around the two spools. Route outbound wires through the other side of the assembly. Specify the direction of current flow for DC measurements, ensuring accurate readings on the correct side. I utilized a Dymo label maker.
