Curlicue Vase

My wonderful Patreon supporters get this model free! :) One of the fun challenges with vase mode is features and detail into a design that don't necessarily feel like they can be part of a model that needs to stick to having a single perimeter with no holes or islands. Those twirly frond-y bits have been on my mind for a while, but each feature that reaches out for a life of its own must do so at a forty-five degree angle both upwards and downwards, limiting the distance they can travel before shrinking to a point from above and below. Thus, the curls needed to be relatively tight in order to get some nice curving happening. Read the rest of the original writeup here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/curlicue-vase-101410364
