The medieval island stronghold, Casa de la Cúria, served as the judicial administration's headquarters during that era. This imposing structure boasts two distinct levels, with its upper floor seamlessly merging into the grand Plaça de la Catedral below. The current main entrance, a late Gothic window of yesteryear, now lies incomplete, lacking the two central columns that once framed it. Above this former window, a proud shield bearing the emblem of the ancient Crown of Aragon proudly proclaims its presence, accompanied by an inscription etched in 1503, a testament to the building's rich history.
