This plugin lifts off the printer bed and inserts a support structure underneath it, allowing the bottom layer to be printed in a way that matches other layers consistently. To maximize its potential, adjust Cura settings so Initial layer thickness equals the layer thickness and Initial layer line width is set at 100. This enables Cura to slice the part with uniform layers and the plugin raises the print off the bed, adds support beneath it where necessary, and continues building the Cura-generated support structure down to the bed on other parts. The plugin also empowers users to adjust Initial layer thickness and line width to compensate for any pre-plugin changes made to these options.
