Cura (3.2.1) profile Tronxy X5S-400
thingiverse
Someone in the Facebook group requested me to upload my profile for the X5S-400. Note that it's specifically designed for this model, although I've also been running test prints with this profile on my A8 and CR10 units. To get optimal results, ensure your basic printer settings are properly configured. I'm sharing this profile because someone asked me to, considering I've only used the X5S-400 for three days. This profile features zero infill but 5 walls at a layer height of 0.12mm. The combination of a small layer height and multiple walls makes it suitable for printing models with overhangs up to 75% without infill or supports. Keep in mind that this is not a one-size-fits-all solution. As with any profile, adjust the settings according to your needs. I created this profile specifically for printing figurines and similar small items, rather than parts that require high strength. There's a noticeable seam at the back of each print, and retraction is set to 8mm at 50mms. This profile was printed using Marlin 1.1.8 firmware (available at http://www.customize-3d.com/tech/flashing-tronxy-x5s-factory-control-board-usb-cable-only.html) after I had tuned both the bed and hotend for optimal performance. The prints were made on a glass surface with hairspray applied.
