Cupid at The British Museum, London
myminifactory
This is a statue of Cupid drawing his bowstring back tight. The ancient torso and head were restored with wings from an ancient masterpiece. The legs and arms were brought back to life by a more modern artist's skilled hands. It was acquired in Rome by the renowned painter James Barry for the esteemed Rt. Hon. Edmund Burke. This object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit project unveiled by MyMiniFactory.
