This user frequently streams videos of their CupCake's operations, especially when creating objects for friends. To capture the action better, they designed an OpenSCAD model for a webcam mount that follows movement. The design needs minor adjustments; the cam slot is tight but secure, and the base is thin so it was covered with duct tape. All dimensions are parameters for easy customization. The cam didn't shake during use, despite being on the X-axis. However, the fixed focus made the HBP wires appear too close. The user may redesign to elevate and distance the cam from the platform, but not too high as it should fold up easily when not in use or for platform access. Another option is mounting it at the back of the X-Stage. A combination with reprapperMC's mount could also work.
