Cupcake Transformer Blank Head
thingiverse
On May 21, 2010, I tackled the gutz of this unique creation. Check it out here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3196. Previously, on May 20, I added zipped versions of the skull files for you to download. Ever wanted a Godzilla-headed, Ganesh-headed, or any-headed Cupcake Transformer? Here are the files to make your dreams come true! This thing is a mash-up between jmillerid's "Cupcake Transformer" and bryanbrutherford's "Chester Copperpot" skull. For even more fun, customize the Transformer's gutz by editing the "back.stl." Imagine a LOLCat head with cheeseburger guts or a Pirate head with treasure chest guts. If you can dream it, you can make it! I'll tackle the gutz soon if someone else doesn't beat me to it. As for the attached "skull1.stl" file, it's a MakerBot-sized and oriented version of "Chester Copperpot." Ready to get started? Use OpenSCAD as your weapon of choice. Download the "head blank.stl" and "head.scad" files. Open "head.scad" in OpenSCAD, edit the import_stl lines to import and position your favorite "head" STL, render, export the mashed-up object as an STL file, Skeinforge it into a STL file, print the Gcode file, and enjoy your kustom Cupcake Transformer!
With this file you will be able to print Cupcake Transformer Blank Head with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Cupcake Transformer Blank Head.
