The LED used here is the same as ScribbleJ's design found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6244. A 80mm version from Dealextreme was chosen for this project. To secure it in place without worry of movement, the LED can be bolted onto the Cupcake Z bed with ample wire space. The LED ring snaps easily and remains stable without glue. Printing in ABS material provides added strength over PLA's flexibility. Follow these steps: print the design, insert the LED ring, bolt it securely, connect wires, and enjoy your new creation!
