Cupcake Gen 4 Endstop Mounts
thingiverse
These cupcake CNC endstop mounts are designed specifically for the Gen 4 electronics endstops (http://store.makerbot.com/mechanical-endstop-v1-2.html). They eliminate the need to drill holes in your Cupcake CNC, and work for both original X and Y axis endstops (-x and -y). These mounts do not support lowrider configurations, however. To install, use 4 x 3mm x 25mm screws to replace the top two bolts on the X front retaining bracket with these longer screws. Secure the X axis endstop to the new screws using its original nuts. Then, remove the front left bearing holding screws and replace them with 3mm x 25mm screws. Attach the Y axis mount to the bottom surface of your bot using these new screws. Finally, fix each endstop to the top of its respective mount using two 3mm x 10mm screws per mount - no nuts are needed as the holes are slightly undersized. For the Z endstop, utilize a hole for the extruder board and an existing random hole in the side of your bot.
