I was experiencing difficulties printing the tiny bottom pieces of the plain frosting tops from the cupcake box design on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3477159, so I opened both the top and frosting files in Sketchup and merged them – this enables the top to function as a support for the frosting! The images demonstrate the combined top and frosting in bronze (on the left), and as separate pieces as the original design in silver (on the right).
