Cupboard Clip
thingiverse
My toddler started getting into our cupboards, so I created a simple clip to keep him out! I wanted something that was strong enough to resist his tugs when he pulled on the doors, easy for an adult to quickly remove, and wouldn't easily get lost. The result is this innovative clip. When you want to open the cupboard doors, simply lift one end of the clip and let it hang freely. Note: My cupboards have handles that are 14cm apart. You may need to redesign this if your handles are differently sized or spaced. This design aims to help parents keep their little ones safe from potential hazards in the kitchen. Print Settings: Printer: FF Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 15% Notes: I used PLA and printed with 3 shells for added strength. The clip was printed lying flat on the build plate, so supports were not needed. I took precise measurements before designing this clip in Fusion 360.
