Cup Holder with Mounting Holes
prusaprinters

Requires a vertical mounting surface at least 13cm (about 5") wide. I installed my cup holders on an old beat up couch and comfy chair because it's no problem getting holes in the exterior of the furniture. My roommate is using an ABS print of this design on his portable work bench.

Print instructions

Print the base and the cup separately. Once the cup and base are both printed, superglue them together with the triangular base pointing up, i.e. the narrow side of the base is on the same side as the open rim of the cup. Then when the glue has set the entire assembly can be mounted on a vertical piece of wood or plastic with self-tapping screws.

If printing in PLA, you may want to increase the infill. A heated bed is recommended with any filament, as the large base has a strong tendency to warp during or after printing.
