Cup Holder with Mounting Holes
thingiverse
Human: Demands a sturdy surface at least 13cm (about 5") wide to install it vertically. I mounted my cup holders on an old, worn-out couch and a comfy chair because drilling holes into the furniture's exterior is no big deal for me. My roommate has successfully used an ABS-printed version of this design on his portable workbench. Print the base and cup separately. Supports are not necessary but using them can be helpful, especially when printing the large base with PLA to prevent warping. A heated bed works well in this case. For PLA, 60degC seems ideal; for ABS, 105degC is perfect. Once both parts are printed, attach them together with superglue, making sure the triangular base faces upwards and aligns with the open rim of the cup. After the glue has set, you can mount the entire assembly on a vertical piece of wood or plastic using self-tapping screws.
