This is an adaptable replacement cup holder designed for universal use on vessels. After prolonged exposure to UV rays, I've seen original holders crack and shatter on my boat, prompting me to find an alternative solution. To produce this cup holder, printing with ABS material yields reliable results. However, I'm uncertain whether PLA can withstand direct sunlight, and the outcome may vary depending on personal preference. You're encouraged to experiment with different materials. Instructions for assembly: The prototype was printed in ABS. In addition, a support structure was incorporated underneath the overhang to add stability during the printing process, increasing material consumption but making it essential due to the inherent design constraints.
