Cultivate3d Beast E3D Titan Direct Drive Extruder Mount
thingiverse
This modification replaces the bowden extruder on the Cultivate3d Beast 3D Printer, allowing you to mount a motor and an E3D Titan directly onto the printer, eliminating issues associated with using bowden and enabling better utilization of the Titan Extruder. The normal bolts provided with the titan are sufficient for mounting with this modification. Beast Instructions: 1. Remove the hotend, fan, and any other components from the beast, leaving only the bare minimum acrylic slider. 2. Retain the bolt on the first acrylic layer that features the extruder height adjustment (only top 2 bolts initially). 3. Utilize 25mm or larger screws, ensuring they do not grind against the rail, to secure the modification and the acrylic part installed in the first layer. 4. Bolt in your motor and titan; you should be fully operational after these steps. My E-steps for mm that worked best with my titan and E3D V6 setup were 430. Thanks for watching this mod! I'm excited to share more updates on my journey to make this printer my go-to machine.
