The current lever is incredibly challenging to turn, and it easily slips past the existing one, adding the necessary leverage to switch steam or water on or off. *Note that the lever hole is noticeably asymmetrical, with a larger opening at one end to facilitate easier insertion onto the existing lever.* Installation: First method: Press the new lever firmly into place. It was designed for a precise press fit onto the current lever, ensuring a secure hold. If you're concerned about it falling off, apply epoxy, similar to Gorilla glue. Second method (in addition to gluing): The part features pre-drilled pocket holes for M3 cap bolts. Press-fit the lever into place, mark the holes, remove the lever, drill out the holes, reattach the lever, and install the bolts. To maintain a secure fit, use shorter bolts whenever possible. I'm currently utilizing it with just a press fit, and it has been functioning flawlessly so far.
