This is the Cuisenaire set by LeHof. For those who have never heard of Cuisenaires, they are simply blocks of varying lengths that can be utilized to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to kids. These blocks can also be used to teach fractions, create simple graphs and build structures. These blocks are metric, add a 1, 2, and 5 block together in a line; you can count the blocks to get 1+2+5=8 or, use the other blocks to compare length to arrive at the same answer of 8. Or use a centimeter ruler to measure the length which will also equal 8 cm. Included in the files is a zip file with enough of each block laid out for a basic set (this will undoubtedly save you time). But when little Timmy decides to stuff one up his nose, I have also provided individual blocks so you can replace any "lost" ones. The standard colors for each block are included in the file name, but these can be used just as well with all blocks being the same color.
