A ceramic cup with a careened design originating from documented materials in structure 28 of the Orientalizing necropolis on Cerro de los Vientos (Baeza, Jaén, Spain) is crafted by hand. It undergoes reducing firing, using refined fine desgrasante, and has very thin walls. The cup measures 16 cm in diameter and retains geometric decoration in red, yellow, white, and black colors, with the last possibly due to fire effects. Dating: 8th-7th century BC. The damper pattern decoration stands out, alternating with other geometric motives. It may have served a ritual function of commensality (consumption of honey or hydromel) related to the nearby funerary area. Model created by "esTRESd".
