CUDA DPV Anti Torque Fine
prusaprinters
The CUDA DPV has a fair amount of the torque caused by the prop rotation. These fins are to counter most of this prop torque. The two files are for one cowl strut. I use PETG for the print. It has good heat and UV resistance and a little more flexability than PLA. The fins are for the 3-Oclock and 9-Oclock positions only. The 12-Oclock has the trigger mechanism in it and is not suitable with this design. The 6-O clock will produce an unwanted side thrust without a 12-Oclock fin to ballance it. The Motor side strut is expanded and slid over the strut and pushed as close the motor cone. The cowl side is expanded and slid over the cowl end of the strut and slid toward the cowl to get it to stop riding on the motor fin and snap onto the strut. I found the clips swork fine without any additional fastning. They could be removed underwater if they were to get fouled.
