The 3D Model of Cucuteni-Trypillian Figurine Shines with Distinction The Cucuteni-Trypillian culture takes center stage in Eastern Europe as a notable archaeological culture dating from approximately 6000 to 3500 BC. This significant time period marks the beginning of Neolithic and Eneolithic developments, characterized by distinctive settlements, remarkable architecture, intricate pottery, and human-like figurines preserved through archaeology. The culture's apex boasts its impressive technological prowess in ceramic production, housebuilding, agriculture, and textile creation, with woven textiles unfortunately having perished but known through indirect means. Tens of thousands of artifacts have been discovered from Neolithic Europe, mainly consisting of female statuettes that raise questions regarding their purpose and meaning. Some theorize these statues signify a mother goddess representing birth and the forces of nature. However, others see them merely as representations of ordinary women. To craft this 3D model, a detailed Trypillian statue underwent precise laser scanning by an innovative Ukrainian artist specializing in ceramics who markets the statuettes as symbols for fertility and prosperity, designed as a unique pendant to carry good fortune. Notable symbols included within the statuette are a Rhombus at its core that signifies reproductive abilities and triangular patterns at the bottom legs indicating natural growth.
